Trump may be done with James Comey, but James Comey isn’t done with Donald Trump.
Imagine a man who tirelessly worked for his country to uphold its honor having his career derailed due to a raving mad lunatic — this is James Comey.
According to The New York Times, James Comey is working on a book that will include a detailed section on his short tenure working with the Trump administration.
via The Times:
The book will not be a conventional tell-all memoir, but an exploration of the principles that have guided Mr. Comey through some of the most challenging moments of his legal career. Among those are his investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server during a contentious election, and his recent entanglement with the president over the F.B.I.’s inquiry into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
However, the book isn’t solely intended to bash Donald Trump. James Comey wants his book to serve as a lesson in leadership.
The Times report adds that James Comey plans to “write candidly about his experience serving in multiple administrations, and to use moments from his career to draw lessons about ethics, decision making and leadership.”
